The Covo is one of the most important indie clubs in Italy, and undoubtedly the oldest - it's been operating for more than 30years.
Small and Intimate, Covo Club is the place to be if you want to see great international acts. In the past years so many important bands have played at Covo: Teenage Fanclub, Stereototal, Spoon, Stereolab, Notwist, Low, Lalipuna, Delgados, The Black Heart Procession, Broadcast, Broken Social Scene, The Drums, Shout Out Louds, Jay Reatard, The Black Lips, Gene, Cast, the Rakes, Smog, Grizzly Bear, Long Blondes,The Go Team!, Art Brut, The Brian Jonestown Massacre, Midlake, Super Furry Animals and Blonde Red Head...
During its existence it also has been host to many gigs of international bands about to become huge, for example Franz Ferdinand, Bonnie Prince Billy, Godspeed You Black Emperor!, The Libertines, The Gossip, The Mars Volta, Animal Collective, Mogwai, Kings Of Convenience, Mumford And Sons and The XX. Covo Club is also a referring point for the growth of the Italian indie scene.
